SHADOW WEEKEND PREVIEW — 3 GAMES, 1 DEN, ALL BUSINESS
The Shadow return home to Big Boy Arena for a packed three-game weekend, with two heavy northern bracket teams rolling into town, here is the break down for a series of game you don't want to miss.
FRIDAY NIGHT — Michigan Flyers & Warren Police Dept.
We open the weekend with a special Friday night matchup against the Michigan Flyers Special Needs Hockey Program, followed by the Warren Police Department. It’s a great way to kick off a loaded slate and set the tone for what’s ahead.
SATURDAY NIGHT — Alpena 45ers Come to The Den
From way upstate, the Alpena 45ers are coming to Big Boy Arena to see what big city life is like. Alpena will be hungry for payback, after the last meeting where the Shadow stole the show on the road. The Shadow are ready to defend home ice and prove that the northern bracket has to run through Fraser, if they plan to win a championship.
SUNDAY MORNING — 10AM vs. Kalkaska Kings
We close out the weekend early Sunday against the Kalkaska Kings. Last time, a shorthanded Shadow roster fell 7–4 on the road. This time, the boys are healthy, ready, and looking to make a statement. Kalkaska is coming south into the Den, and they’ll be met with a full squad ready to answer back, this is a championship match up in the early stages as Kalkaska currently holds onto the first place spot in the league, while the Shadow are building a quiet giant in the southern bracket.
